Do I need Planning permission? New measures have been introduced which means that a planning application may not be necessary, however when it is, often the Local Planning Authority now require slightly more comprehensive information than just a drawing, eg, a Planning Statement and a Sustainability Report. Are there constraints to what I want to do? Planning has National Policies and guidelines, but each Council has their own additionally locally adopted plans for their borough, which for example may relate to other constraints, other building guidelines and for say special or conservation areas, all of which need to be considered and responded to within an Application. | |
